The pirate Rockhopper is a infamous pirate penguin that often sails to Club Penguin on his sailing ship, called the Migrator. His visits are usually spaced apart by several weeks or months and often coincide with special events in the game. He comes along with his red puffle, Yarr. When he arrives, he always docks his ship at the Beach, right behind the Lighthouse. One of the best parts of Rockhopper's visits is that he always brings along special items that can only be obtained during his visit. These items are generally only for paid members in the game, but he always brings at least one free item with him that everyone can get.

One of the most fun things to do when Rockhopper is on the island in Club Penguin is to try and find him. While he is visiting, he will often appear on one particular server at a time and move from room to room. The reward for finding him is a special player card background image showing Rockhopper and his autograph. Here's a quick tip for spotting him, because it can be difficult to find him in the crowds. Rockhopper is a red penguin and slightly larger than normal penguins. You can spot him pretty easily because he wears a pirate hat and has a long black beard.

You can see when he is arriving by looking for his ship on the horizon from the telescope at the top of the lighthouse. His ship will begin to show up about a week or so before his arrival and every few days it will appear bigger and closer in the view from the telescope. One of the most famous arrivals was from early 2008 when everyone was able to see the Migrator get struck by an iceberg when they looked through the telescope. Rockhopper's ship sank and he and Yarr had to get away. Rockhopper and Yarr used a lifeboat to reach the island safely and Gary the Gadget Guy led all of the penguins on the island in a monumental effort to rebuild Rockhopper's ship. This event led to the launch of a new game on Club Penguin called Aqua Grabber.

In order to find Rockhopper while he is wandering around the island, use some basic guidelines. Look for him during popular times such as evenings when he is most likely to appear. Team up with friends to spot him. Divide into search party teams and go to the popular servers. Use a Rockhopper Tracker to try and find out which server he is on and then go from room to room on that server. Be patient. A lot of times a smart strategy is to select a popular server and just hang out and wait for him to come to you.

Orange Puffles have finally arrived for adoption at the Pet Shop in Club Penguin. The only thing is that you must be a paid subscribe to buy an orange puffle and the cost is 800 coins. The orange puffles are listed as being zany and curious.

Their favorite toys to play with are wagons and boxes. The orange puffle in your igloo has a toy wagon that is green. He'll play with it and inflate the tires and turn it into a rocket wagon. When you give your orange puffle a bath, it will jump into the bath from a small diving board. When you feed puffle o's to your orange puffle, he tries to eat the bowl first. They are also very cute when they sleep and they drool a little bit on their pillows.

I'm so excited because the 2009 Club Penguin Xmas Celebration has begun on Club Penguin. It's one of the biggest and most exicting parties each year. Nearly everywhere you go, you'll see tons of cheerful holiday decorations. Almost all of the outdoor rooms and several of the indoor areas are decorated especially for the holiday and there are very nice hidden things and secrets for this year's Club Penguin Xmas Party.

First things first. The free item for the party this year is the Santa Hat. It's the same exact hat they gave out last year, but if you didn't get it then, go check it out. You can get the hat inside a big green box right in the middle of the Ski Village.

Probably the coolest part of the party is the Sled Ride and Santa's Workshop. The workshop is up on the second floor of the Night Club in the room also known as the lounge. It looks like the penguin elves are busy in here with lots of toys getting prepared for a ride on the big sled.. If you're a member you can play the brand new sleigh ride game. The goal of this game is to help deliver presents while the sled flies over chimneys and roof tops. Drop the presents into the chimneys by pressing a red button on the sleigh as you fly overhead. When you get 15 gifts into the chimneys you win the game and receive a very neat Santa Suit as a reward. It goes great with the free Santa Hat from the ski village and also the Santa beard from last year's party.

Of course there's lots of other things to see for the party all over the place. You can see tons of neat secrets and party stuff in many different spots of the island.

The outside of the lighthouse at the beach is decorated with a big banner that says, Concert for Change. When you go into the lighthouse, you'll see a stage and lots of concert seating. There's even a coat check! I don't know if there's a planned concert coming or if it's just a place to hang out and pretend to play your own instruments.

Want to see Santa Claus? Well, there's a big Santa chair up on the second floor of the coffee shop. It looks like those Santa meeting places in department stores. You can put on the Santa outfit you got from the sleigh ride along with the hat and beard and pretend to be Santa Claus.

The forest has an amazingly huge Christmas Tree with lots of presents underneath it. I wish you could get some of those toys for your igloo.

The pizza parlor has a long table in the middle that replaces all of the normal small ones. There's a huge pizza on the table and if you click on it, you'll serve the pizza slices onto the plates. Click on the slices and they'll be eaten! You can also click on the fruitcake and the big fish to change those as well.

The Dojo is decorated with many pretty colored lights on strings and the stone puffle statues out in front have Santa hats on.

But that's not all, there's lots more fun Xmas Party things to see and do. All you really need to do is wander around and take a look. The party is really fun this year so make sure you check it out before it ends.

Series 6 Club Penguin Toys!

Club Penguin Card Jitsu is a really popular mini-game that you can play inside the Dojo and Ninja Hideout. To get inside the Dojo, players must go to the Dojo Courtyard and walk through the doors.

When you first visit, you must talk with the Sensei in the back corner. He will explain what to do, as well as giving them a starter pack.

If you read the instructions on the wall, you will see that belts can be gained quicker if players play in competition mode instead of playing on a mat. If you want to enter competition mode, talk to the Sensei. The belt ranks begin with white and go through several colors all the way up to black. While you're in the Dojo, you'll also see an icon with three cards in the lower-right corner of your screen. This icon will show you what rank you are and how far along you are to the next one.

The December edtion of Penguin Style became available in the Gift Shop a few days ago. You'll find a ton of holiday outfits for your penguin. There are also some really good hidden items and secrets inside the catalog, just like every month. I have a list of all of the December catalog cheats right here.
